June 22, 2016 Recipes, Smoothies/Drinks

Okay, people. I know that I haven’t posted in a while, and that is because I am currently preparing for a trip to the Philippines to visit Mitchy’s family.

In fact, right now I am about to have breakfast and head to the air port. I’m not bringing my lap top, so no posts for the next two weeks, but I have been trying to get this recipe out to you for the last little while for the chai tea smoothie, so here we go.

I am very short on time, so here are the basics:

Ingredients
  1. ♥ 3 cups water
  2. ♥ 2 tea bags
  3. ♥ 10+ ice cubes
  4. ♥ 10-12 bananas, frozen
  5. ♥ 2 tablespoons vanilla extract
For the tea
  1. Steep the tea bags in the water to preference.
  2. Remove tea from stove and add ice cubes until the tea is cold. You may also want to place it in the freezer for a few minutes to cool it down (I left mine in overnight).
For smoothie
  1. Combine the tea, bananas, and the vanilla extract in the blender and puree until texture is smooth. Add more tea to achieve a thinner texture.
