Okay, people. I know that I haven’t posted in a while, and that is because I am currently preparing for a trip to the Philippines to visit Mitchy’s family.
In fact, right now I am about to have breakfast and head to the air port. I’m not bringing my lap top, so no posts for the next two weeks, but I have been trying to get this recipe out to you for the last little while for the chai tea smoothie, so here we go.
I am very short on time, so here are the basics:
Tea + smoothie (Whaaaaaat)
Got it? Good.
Vanilla Chai Smoothie
A sweet, perfectly spiced vanilla smoothie, featuring chai tea.
- ♥ 3 cups water
- ♥ 2 tea bags
- ♥ 10+ ice cubes
- ♥ 10-12 bananas, frozen
- ♥ 2 tablespoons vanilla extract
- Steep the tea bags in the water to preference.
- Remove tea from stove and add ice cubes until the tea is cold. You may also want to place it in the freezer for a few minutes to cool it down (I left mine in overnight).
- Combine the tea, bananas, and the vanilla extract in the blender and puree until texture is smooth. Add more tea to achieve a thinner texture.

I was actually getting bored with my smoothie options the other day so I started a brainstorming list of all of the different smoothie flavors I could think to make. This is what…
